2 days after Congress’ NP Prajapati was elected as Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly where BJP was allegedly not allowed to forward their nominee by the pro-tem speaker Deepak Saxena, the Deputy Speaker post has landed in the Congress arena.
Hina Kawre, won the post of Deputy Speaker amidst disorders and adjournments. She is the daughter of former Transport Minister Likhiram Kawre.
Earlier, Kawre had exuded her faith in the party member, while talking to media she had said, ” In all likelihood, I will emerge the winner”.
Hina Kaware, a second-term MLA from Lanji in Balaghat, has filed the nomination for the Congress while the BJP had fielded its former Minister Jagdeesh Dewra, an MLA from Malhargarh in Mandsaur district.
