Madhya Pradesh Polls 2018: SP Supremo Akhilesh Yadav to begin campaigning from Shahdol

SP national President Akhilesh Yadav will be in Madhya Pradesh on a two-day visit. On September 29, he will address a public meeting at Shahdol. On the 30th, he will address a public meeting in Balaghat.

Samajwadi Party (SP) which is exploring its lost ground in poll bound Madhya Pradesh has announced strategy and campaigning plan for state assembly elections 2018.

In a statement issued in Lucknow on Friday, party stated that,

“SP national President Akhilesh Yadav will be in Madhya Pradesh on a two-day visit. On September 29, he will address a public meeting at Shahdol. On the 30th, he will address a public meeting in Balaghat.”

Party national general secretary Rajendra Choudhary said,

“SP Supremo Akhilesh has already held a number of programmes in the recent past in Bhopal, Satna, Rewa, Khajuraho, Panna, Sidhi, Shahdil. Hence, SP is ready to go into the assembly election in Madhya Pradesh with full strength. It will contest around two dozen assembly constituencies in the state.”

Earlier, SP Madhya Pradesh, Chief spokesperson Dr. Sunilam told Newsd that,

“Party is willing to form an alliance with Congress and it all depends on Akhilesh Yadav”.

Samajwadi Party has expanded its organization in Madhya Pradesh and holds a strong support in Mahakaushal region. As per the sources, SP could play a vital role in 24 constituencies of Madhya Pradesh.
