Nagpur: An appalling incident has come to light, where a girl was abducted by 3 women and sold to a man in Madhya Pradesh.
Four people have allegedly given her a concoction after which she was unconscious and was later sold to a person in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur.
Gittikhadan police have registered a complaint against the three women and one unknown man. Four of them are reportedly absconding.
The 22-year-old registered a complaint against Aasha Rokade, Usha Rokade, Chanda Gajbhie and one of her associates. The police have booked the four of the accused. The three women are said to be the neighbour of the victim.
According to reports, the victim’s mother was finding a bride for her daughter and the accused came to know about it. After strong planning by the accused, they kidnapped the girl after she had gone to their place on July 14, 2018. While talking to the victim, the women gave her concoction and she fell unconscious. Following which she was taken to Shahjahanpur in Madhya Pradesh.
The accused then sold the girl to a man identified as Ashok Kailash Sisodia for Rs 75,000. The accused has told the man that she was the victim’s mother and got her married to him. After the wedding, the man told the girl that the women had sold her and took Rs 75,000 from him.
The victim then narrated the ordeal to the man after which they approached the local police and told the entire story.
The local police gave the information to the Gittikhadan police of Nagpur city. The victim then reached there and lodged a complaint. This incident took place in July 2018. Police have registered a case under IPC section 363, 366, 328, 370, 506, 34 against the accused. The search of the accused is underway.
