On Monday a Nagpur police head constable was suspended after the video of him showering money on students while they were performing at an event on Republic day went viral.

In the video, Pramod Walke can be seen throwing money while the kids dance on the song ‘Aye watan tere liye’.

The Times of India in their report said that Walke, along with two constables had drinks after attending flag ceremony at their police stations. Following this, Walke went to a school function in Nangaon and when the students started performing, the head constable began throwing money.

In a separate incident after the video of two cops physically attacking a woman out of the Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station in Bengaluru made rounds on the internet, the Assistant sub-inspector Renukaiah got suspended.

After the video went viral SP Rakesh Ola suspended Walke.
