MAMAMOO’s Wheein Comeback: Wheein of MAMAMOO recently confirmed she will make a solo reappearance next month. She is presently busy preparing for the new album.

It will have been approximately one year and nine months since her last release, the second compact album WHEE. On the contrary, the album is scheduled to be released on October 12.

Jung Whee-in (Korean: ), better known by her stage name Wheein (or sometimes WheeIn), is a member of the South Korean girl group MAMAMOO and is responsible for the group’s vocals and performances.

Whee In launched her solo career on April 17, 2018 with the release of the single album magnolia, becoming the first MAMAMOO member to do so. Her second single album, Soar, was released on September 4, 2019, followed by her first EP, Redd, on April 13, 2021. On January 16, 2022, after departing RBW and joining THE L1VE, Whee In released her second extended play titled WHEE.

On April 17, during her birthday, Whee In held her first solo fan meeting, titled 2022 WHEE IN FANMEETING “D-DAY” The event consists of two sessions, with the first beginning at 2:00 PM KST and the second beginning at 6:30 PM KST. The offline events take place at the YES24 Live Hall, while the online sessions are broadcast on LIVECONNECT (YES24) and U+ Idol Live.Additionally, on the same day at 6 PM KST, Whee In released a special single titled D-DAY.

On May 18 at 6 PM KST, Whee In released an OST titled “Melody” for the film Gongzza : Gonggi Tazza.
