With top leaders of the country marking their attendance at Brigade Parks Ground, Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee’s rally saw multitude of people.

Top leaders like, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu, Rashtriya Janata Dal’s and leader of opposition in Bihar’s Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav, Janata Dal(S) leader Deve Gowda, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Karanataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, Mallikarjun Kharge senior Congress leader, Shatrughan Sinha dissident BJP MP were among those attending the event. The politicians spoke at lengths about what should 2019 Lok Sabha Election be about.

On Friday, a day ahead of the opposition rally, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi had written to Mamata in support of the rally. He wrote, ”I extend my support to Mamata Di on this show of unity and hope that we send a powerful message of a united India together”.
