In a recent, the police has taken action and arrested a youth in connection with the running of fake social media handle in the name of DGP Gupteshwar Pandey of Bihar. The man started sending friend request to the people by creating a fake Facebook ID named Gupteshwar Pandey.
But as soon as the matter came to the notice of the police. The police immediately came into action. The information was given to DGP Gupteshwar Pandey and the case was lodged in the Shastrinagar police station. The arrested youth is a resident of Patali village in Ujiarpur.
In the matter, Dalsinghsarai DSP Kundan Kumar said that the case has been registered on the statement of Ujiarpur station incharge. He said, fake Twitter handles were being run by the accused youth in the name of DGP and Samastipur district officer of Bihar for the last about 2 months. The action was taken by the police after receiving the information.
