Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5: Sony has revealed a new limited-edition PlayStation 5 collection made for Marvel fans. The collection is being launched for Marvel’s Wolverine, the upcoming PS5 game from Insomniac Games. It includes a special PS5 Digital Edition bundle, matching DualSense controllers and Wolverine-themed console covers.
The game itself is scheduled to launch on September 15, 2026, and Sony has planned the special hardware around the same release. Marvel’s Wolverine is being made only for PS5 and PS5 Pro. The game is a single-player action-adventure title from Insomniac Games.

Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Bundle
The main product in the collection is the Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Digital Edition – Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle. It uses a black and yellow design inspired by Wolverine’s classic look.
The PS5 Digital Edition has yellow and black side panels with Wolverine artwork and claw marks. The claw-style cuts are part of the design and give the console a much more aggressive appearance. The bundle also comes with a matching DualSense wireless controller and the game itself. Sony has priced the complete bundle at $649.99 in the US.
Sony explained that the design “channels Logan’s unmistakable intensity through a bold yellow finish” and that “the design brings in Wolverine’s exposed claw marks and lets players peek under the hood of the PS5 Digital Edition and see what’s underneath”.
The company also worked with comic artist Jock for the look of the hardware. Jock said he wanted to “show Wolverine at his fiercest” while creating the design. This is not only about the color. Sony has used Wolverine’s claws and rough visual style across the console so it feels connected to the character instead of simply being a normal PS5 with a logo added to it.

Sony is also offering the Wolverine-themed DualSense controller separately for $84.99. The Battle Yellow version has a black and yellow design with Wolverine’s claw marks.
PS5 owners can also buy matching yellow and black console covers for $74.99 instead of getting a new console. For PS5 Pro users, Sony has a silver and black design inspired by Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton and claws. The PS5 Pro covers cost $74.99, while a matching two-tone DualSense controller is also sold separately.

The $649.99 PS5 bundle includes the console, the matching DualSense controller and Marvel’s Wolverine. Current reporting says the bundle includes the game as a digital download code.
For people who already own a PS5, buying the $84.99 DualSense controller or the $74.99 console covers is a much cheaper way to bring the Wolverine style to their setup.
