MH SET 2020 notification released, online registration to begin soon: Direct link here

The official notification has been released by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) for Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) 2020. Candidates who are willing to apply can visit the official website, setexam.unipune.ac.in.

As per the official notification, the online application process will start on January 1, 2020 and will conclude on July 21, 2020. The MH SET 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 28, 2020. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the admit card from June 18, 2020.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate must have a master’s degree in any of the subjects of SET.

The candidates having Post Graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the Foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence* of their diploma/degree/certificate, with Master’s degree of recognized Indian Universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

The official notification reads, “The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.”

Exam centre:

The MH-SET exam will be conducted in 15 city centers such as Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, & Panji (Goa).

Pattern of exam:

The exam will be conducted in an objective mode.

The test will comprise of two papers- both the papers will be held in two sessions without a break.

Paper 1 will comprise of teaching aptitude and research aptitude. Paper 2 comprises of 100 objective type questions, (except mathematical science) on the basis of the subject selected by the candidate.
