The entire nation including the Tamil Nadu Information and Publicity ministry is gripped by the ‘Kabali fever.’ A letter has emerged, addressed to the manager of Abirami Theatre, asking for 10 tickets to the ‘first-day-first-show’ of the Thalaiva starrer, by V.Premkumar, the senior PA for the information and publicity minister. So much so that Mumbai’s Arora theatre is planning to shift the movie’s first show to 3 am in the morning!
The superstar’s craze has led people to take flights to catch the first day, first show of the movie and many companies in Bengaluru and Chennai have declared a holiday to give its employees the day off to watch the movie. The step was taken by these companies because of the increasing pile of leave requests that they were getting!
Weird fact is that the movie has already managed to raise around Rs 200 crore just by releasing its distribution and satellite rights, and this is even before the actual release of the movie. The entire social media is buzzing with activity prior to the resale of the movie and it has been declared a super hit.
From phone covers, t-shirts, licence plates to car stickers, its Kabali all the way!
