In Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind, a person took Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election speech very seriously, now he has landed in trouble.
The case is related to SBI Bank located in Alampur of Bhind district. Here, one person’s hard-earned money became someone else’s money as a person with the same name was withdrawing from the same account thereby believing that PM Modi is sending money.
In a bizarre incident, Hukum Singh, who lives in Rurai village and Hukum Singh, who lives in Roni village, both opened an account in the Alampur branch. The banker took separate photos of both of them but gave the same address and account number to both which resulted in one account and two holders.
After opening the account, Hukum Singh Kushwaha of Rurai went to Haryana to earn a living. Here, he kept saving money and depositing it in the account.
On the other hand, Hukum Singh of Roni village reached the bank and kept withdrawing money. That too for a period of 6 months. Hukum Singh spent 6 months from the account of Hukum Singh and withdrew 89 thousand rupees over the time.
The matter came to forth when Hukum Singh of Rurai village was to buy land, for which he reached the bank to withdraw money on 16 October. Here he saw that only 35 thousand 400 rupees were left in his account, while according to him, he had already deposited Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand.
After this, he complained to the bank personnel but he alleged that the bank officials tried to suppress this matter.
The bank manager Rajesh Sonkar told them that the account holder will get the money. But I found out that the money is with Hukum Singh, a resident of Roni.
when he was asked the question, he clearly said, “I had an account.” He got money. I was thinking Modiji is giving money, so I withdrew. We had no money, we were helpless. We have got work done at home and therefore we had to withdraw money. ”
Hukum Singh, a resident of Roni, has blamed the bankers for this negligence.
