This sequel brings in Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, which is one of the biggest draws for fans. Warner Bros. and Rotten Tomatoes both list Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, and Damon Herriman in the film. Simon McQuoid is back in the director’s chair too. The mix of old fighters and new faces is a big part of why the film is getting so much attention.

What the Story is about?
The story stays inside the big Earthrealm versus Outworld battle. Rotten Tomatoes says the champions, now joined by Johnny Cage, are pushed into a brutal fight against Shao Kahn and his dark rule. The first Mortal Kombat film followed Cole Young, an MMA fighter who learns he is tied to Hanzo Hasashi, also known as Scorpion, before joining Earthrealm’s fighters in their battle against Outworld. Right now, Mortal Kombat II is only in theatres, and no official OTT release date has been announced yet.
