After the deadly attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama district, a mock drill at Virar’s DMart mall was held by the authorities of the mall. The mock drill was conducted in order to review the security arrangements.
Hell broke out when the mock drill that went on for three long hours triggered panic among the Mumbaikars, resident of Pune and other areas of Maharashtra as they were unaware of the happening of mock drill.
The video of the incident went viral but for all the wrong reasons. The uninformed people shared the video on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, spreading false information that a terror plan was plotted in Mumbai which led to arrest of a terrorist.

The reality behind it was that the drill was conducted Palghar district police along with Riot Control Police (RCP) and Quick Response Team.
The drill was held to see the security arrangements and the cops in the video are seen catching a dummy terrorist. The mock drill was planned considering the terror strike in Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday.
