To mark three years of Narendra Modi-led NDA government, Chief Minister, N Biren Singh, inaugurated a three-day State-wide publicity campaign ‘MODI fest’ at Iboyaima Entangle, Imphal.
While according a status of God to PM, he said, “Narendra Modi is a messenger of God who implemented various developmental and welfare schemes for poor and marginalised communities of the country”.
“The welfare schemes have reached all sections of the society including the poorest of the poor in the country during these three years”, he added.
Further assuring that the State Government would work as per wishes and aspirations of the people, N Biren Singh said:
“The government uphold the idea of togetherness and time has come to work towards development, health and education sector in the larger interest of the people”.
The Chief Minister focused that more than 300 drug items would be available free of cost in government hospitals including Primary Health Centres of the State soon. Diagnosis of any disease including MRI scan would be free of cost after three months, he added.
As a part of the festival, several stalls have been created to apprise people of different schemes like skill development, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana etc.
