It’s a basic task, but it’s crucial when you consider that most custodians live difficult lives and earn little money. If you appreciate the hard work of your custodians, contact their supervisor via phone call, email, or text message to express your gratitude. Or, more simply, compose a note and have multiple coworkers endorse it. Stick it on the wall where the custodian’s supervisor will see it, and you will have given your custodian not only a wonderful day but also the chance of a raise during the next review!

Organize a luncheon at the office
