HISTORY OF NATIONAL MANTRA DAY

A mantra is a sacrosanct word or phrase recited in a variety of religious and spiritual traditions, including Buddhism and Hinduism. The Chinese and Japanese equivalents of the Sanskrit term are “true word” and “true speech”, respectively. Numerous academicians hypothesise that mantras have been in use between 601 and 700 A.D.
