Neena Gupta has always been vocal about her personal life and is a fierce woman. Neen is a right example of modern Indian woman, from her well-known love affair with Viv Richards to having Masaba Gupta and getting out of wedlock to battling social judgments around that and even daughter Masaba’s divorce from Madhu Mantena.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, she said that she was judged for having Masaba and was called out as brave but people only gave her negative roles.

Once, Masaba had revealed that she had told Neena about her idea of living in and her mom had clearly objected, to this Neena said that actually, it was Masaba who helped me come to terms with it. Initially, I couldn’t accept it at all and it affected me.”
She concluded y saying that if Masaba asks now about live in she would agree to it because it is far better than divorce.
