Indian Idol 12 is set to premiere on Sony TV on November 28. In a video that is now going viral, he is seen telling the judges about his struggles with poverty and how his grandmother had to take a loan to send him for the auditions.
This impressed the judges and Neha Kakkar even offered him Rs 1 lakh.
In the video, Shahzad is seen telling the judges that he does not have a concrete roof over his head, but he does have a big heart to live with. He believes that winning Indian Idol 12 will help him buy a concrete home for his family and will make his family proud, who watches him from above.
He also reveals that his grandmother took a loan of Rs 5000 so that he can come on the stage of Indian Idol.

For the uninitiated, Indian Idol 12, which will see Aditya Narayan returning as the host, will premiere on Sony TV from November 28. Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani will return as judges on the show.
