NEST Result 2020: The results of the National Entrance Screening Test, NEST will be announced today, i.e., on October 13. Those candidates who have been anxiously awaiting the NEST 2020 results can check their scores on the official website, nestexam.in.
Previously, the NEST exam scores were slated to be released on October 12.
“Due to technical issues, the scorecard generation has been delayed. Scorecards will now be available to download on 13th October, after 7 pm,” read the official statement.
This year, the NEST exam was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT/online exam) on September 29, at various test centres.
Steps to check NEST Result 2020:
To check the NEST 2020 results, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website: nestexam.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘NEST Results’ on the homepage of NEST 2020
- Enter your login details such as registration number and password
- Click on submit
- NEST results will be displayed on screen
- Download it and take print out of it for future reference

The NEST 2020 answer keys were published on October 5, 2020, and candidates can raise objections by 11 AM on October 6.
NEST is a compulsory online/computer-based test for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
