NID DAT Mains 2020 result: The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the final result of NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) mains for its BDes-GDPD admission. Candidates who have taken the test can check their results by visiting the official website at admission.nid.edu.
Students can get to check their NID DAT 2020 result on the official website of NID by using their email ids and dates of birth.
The Design Aptitude Test, or DAT, is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD). NID DAT 2020 mains (online interaction) exam was held on June-end.
Steps to check NID DAT 2020 Result:
- Step 1: Visit the official result website at admission.nid.edu
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that says, “Click here to view the Final Results of B.Des./GDPD 2020-21”
- Step 3: Enter your credentials and login
- Step 4: The result will appear on the display screen
- Step 5: Download the results and take its print out for further reference.

The exam conducting authority, this year for the academic session 2020-21, has revised the weightage of NID DAT 2020 prelims and NID DAT 2020 mains. DAT prelims holding a higher weightage with 70 per cent marks while DAT mains with 30 per cent weightage.
Students passing the NID DAT 2020 mains will be granted admissions in the NID campuses located in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
NID DAT prelims exams were conducted on December 29, 2019, but the mains got disrupted and postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation and had to be held from June 23, 2020. NID DAT 2020 mains exams were held online for the academic session 2020-21.
