Former deputy chief minister, Tejashwi Yadav has said that Nitish Kumar is tying up with the killers of Mahatma Gandhi at the Bihar assembly in Patna, on Friday. “Nitish Kumar is tying up with the killers of Mahatma Gandhi. He (Nitish) transformed from ‘Hey Ram’ to ‘Jai Shri Ram’,” said Tejashwi.
Tejashwi also reiterated his stand that he was not given the chance to stake claim to form the government. “Nitish Kumar is still my uncle, but he betrayed me. RJD had more numbers than the JD(U), but we still chose him as the CM. We sacrificed. I have always tried to keep the Mahagathbandhan going…. Everything was scripted.”
Talking about Sushil Modi, who took oath as deputy chief minister Tejashwi said, “Sushil Modi is also facing cases. So why did he take oath (as deputy chief minister). Why was the timing of the oath-taking ceremony changed? How did Narendra Modi tweet so quickly on Nitish Kumar’s resignation?”
“Nitish never discussed about my resignation. I was taking legal opinion and I told him about that. I am 22-years-old but I am never afraid. Lalu Prasad Yadav had cases against him even before the Mahagathbandhan was formed. Was Nitish Kumar not aware of this?” he asked.
“Nitish Kumar had planned to go with the BJP well in advance. Whenever he fights alone, he is exposed Nitish Kumar needs either the BJP or the RJD. I was used as a pawn,” he added.
