On Monday, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi visited the Panduri Mata temple at Dev Mogara village near Debiapada. A significant temple for the local tribals of the area. After arriving at the Vadodara airport on Monday afternoon, Gandhi headed straight to the temple in Narmada district, said Gujarat Congress spokesperson Nishith Vyas.

Succeeding this, Gandhi went to Dediapada to address his rally in Gujrat in recent times. As he addresses the rally at Dediapada village, he gave a silent tribute to the jawans who lost their lives fighting for the country on the borders. Additionally, he also paid tribute to those jawans who died on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the rally, Gandhi said, “Nobody can compete with Anand ‘Amul’ Milk Co-op Model which Sardar Patel established in Gujarat”. Notably, Amul is an Indian dairy cooperative, based at Anand in the state of Gujarat, India; was formed in 1946.

Talking about jobs, Gandhi, quoting an NDA MP said that the scope of jobs has been the lowest in the past seven years. Additionally, taking a jibe at the ruling government, Gandhi said that RSS and BJP do not consider the Adivasis as humans.

Gandhi said, “those who supported Modi, came to me, saying their children don’t get an education. Who is getting benefit then, I asked”.

“Big industrialists get land as gift in Gujarat. When farmers ask for their rights, police beat their women”, said Rahul Gandhi.

Notably, this public meeting also marks the beginning of his campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, a party leader said. Assembly elections in the State will happen by the end of this year or early next year.
