The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is making its ticketing services fully computerised on the routes of Sabarimala starting from the annual Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season. With the computerised mechanism, the tickets will be made Online and an online booking for tickets will be available for commuters.
Among ten AC electric buses of the KSRTC services running on the Pamba-Nilakkal route, the state carrier will exclusively orchestrate the services seeing the security issues. The Sabarimala journey will have a new digital ticketing system incorporating QR Code which will help authorities to conduct services according to demand.
So far fifteen ticket counters have been planned at Pamba and Nilakkal which will also accept credit and debit cards. The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has decided to deploy 250 buses on the route. However, ordinary services are scheduled every minute.

The AC buses will start at an interval of two minutes. The fare for non-AC buses is Rs 40 and for AC buses it will be Rs 75. KSRTC will post 800 employees for the operations. The KSRTC is making online booking facility available from October 29.
