NTA NEET 2020 Admit Card LIVE Updates: As the demands on the postponement of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – NEET 2020 ran rife, the National Testing Agency (NTA), on August 20 issued a notice stating that the admit card would be released soon.
The notice reads: “The downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number, Test Centre Number & Address, Question Paper Medium, Reporting/ Entry Time and Gate Closing Time of Centre shall commence shortly.”
NEET admit card is a vital document and is the entry ticket to the examination hall. Thus, it is mandatory for all students, who are taking the exam, to carry their hall tickets with them to the exam hall.
The authorities will release NEET hall ticket 15 days prior to the exam date, which is September 13, 2020. The Supreme Court (SC) dismissed the students’ plea seeking NEET examination postponement on August 17, 2020.
Once the NEET admit card 2020 is released, candidates shall download the same from the official website at ntaneet.nic.in. The admit card will contain important details such as the date, time and venue of the examination. Special instructions and preventive measures for the candidates will also be mentioned in the admit card in view of the Coronavirus.
It is extremely necessary for candidates to download admit card within the given time and preview the details mentioned on the same carefully.
If a student finds any discrepancies, they must report to the NTA authorities.
As per the official notice, NTA has already informed the candidates about the exam centre city they have been allotted and the admit card will be issued separately.
Moreover, the NTA students have confirmed that they have also been allotted test centres according to their preferences.
Steps to download NEET 2020 Exam Hall Ticket
- Step 1. Visit the official website of NTA NEET and on the homepage, click on NEET Admit Card download link.
- Step 2. Click on ‘NEET admit card 2020’.
- Step 3. Input application number, date of birth and the security pin
- Step 4. Click on the ‘Submit button.
- NEET Admit Card 2020 will appear on the screen.
- Step 5. Download the NEET 2020 admit card and take a print out for future use.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG is being held by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes across India.
As per the NTA press release, the correction window was available five times to edit details and exam centre choices. And 95000 candidates have will be allotted their revised centres. The details of the centre name, address, and code will be mentioned in the downloaded www.nta.nic.in 2020 admit card.
