After few days of killing woman Maoist Meena and four Maoists, including three women and a minor were detained. On Monday a Maoist leader, CPI (Maoist) Malkangiri-Koraput-Visakhapatnam border division secretary Kailasam has released an audio tape threatening revenge. The Maoist, in the audiotape, claimed that it was a fake encounter and warned of revenge.
Maoist further stated that the security forces tortured Meena physically and mentally for two days and after killing her on October 12 spread the false message that Meena died in an encounter.
Andhra police in joint an operation with Odisha police has committed such a gruesome act to take revenge of the September 23 killings of TDP MLA from Araku, Kidari Sarveswara Rao, and former MLA Siveri Soma in Andhra Pradesh added Kailasam.
An encounter of Maoists with security forces took place in the Swabhiman area of Malkangiri district last week.
