The OnePlus Pad has started receiving the January 2024 security patch with the rollout of a new OxygenOS update that also brings in a couple of improvements and bug fixes to the device. This update, OxygenOS 14.0.0.300, is rolling out in the India (IN) region in batches and will be received by a limited number of users initially.
This update addresses an issue that might cause some apps to crash as well as an issue where the Eraser tool for editing your photos might not work properly. With this update, OnePlus has also removed the Background stream feature in the Smart Sidebar.
