The Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya broiled in a controversy after she said that the opposition is apparently using a “marak shakti” to harm the BJP leaders.
“Once a Maharaj ji told me that bad times are upon us and opposition is up to something, using some ‘maarak shakti‘ against the BJP,” said Thakur speaking at a memorial service of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley as quoted by news agency ANI.
“I later forgot what he said, but now when I see our top leaders like Sushma ji, Babu Lal ji, then Jaitley ji left us one by one, I am forced to think, wasn’t Maharaj ji right?” she added.
A number of key BJP leaders including Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar, Anant Kumar and Atal Bihari Vajpayee have passed away in the past year. Former finance minister Arun Jaitley took his last breathes on Saturday after suffering from a prolonged illness, Sushma Swaraj passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest earlier this month.
Earlier, Sadhvi Pragya claimed that the then Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare was killed in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks due to her “curse”.
