OTET Exam row update: Protesting against the massive irregularities in the conduct of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), scores of candidates on Saturday once again hit the streets and staged demonstration in front of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office in Cuttack.
While candidates were seen gathering before the board office to stage demonstration alleging the authorities of being unapologetic towards discrepancies in the question paper, they candidates alleged that there have been massive errors in the question paper and the answer key released thereafter.
Candidates demanded that those who were unsuccessful in the entrance should be included in the merit list. Many others also questioned the timing of the release of the key during Durga Puja vacation.
They also demanded that the board should create accountability so that those involved in the question paper lapses should get punishment. If they demands are not fulfilled then the candidates will gherao Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s residence.
