According to multiple entertainment industry reports, the makers have secured a blockbuster OTT deal, making Peddi one of the most valuable Telugu film properties in the digital market.

Reports suggest that streaming giant Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights of Peddi for more than Rs 105 crore plus GST. The deal alone has helped the film recover a major chunk of its massive production budget even before release.

Trade reports also indicate that the movie is expected to generate additional revenue from satellite rights, music rights, and overseas distribution deals. Industry estimates suggest the overall non-theatrical business could rise significantly higher in the coming weeks.
One Of The Costliest Telugu Films Ever Made
Peddi is reportedly mounted on a huge budget of nearly Rs 300 crore, placing it among the most expensive Telugu films ever produced. Earlier reports had already hinted that the film’s production costs had crossed Rs 250 crore during filming.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani. Music for the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman.

Strong Pre-Release
Apart from the OTT sale, Peddi is also reportedly witnessing massive theatrical demand across Indian and overseas markets. Trade portal reports claim the film’s worldwide theatrical business has already crossed Rs 200 crore, making it one of the biggest pre-release deals for a Telugu film in recent years.
The overseas market, especially North America, has shown strong interest in the film. Early reports revealed that advance sales abroad crossed USD 300,000 even before aggressive promotions began.
Peddi Release Date
Peddi is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Premiere shows are expected to begin a day earlier in select international markets.
