Pehowa is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. It falls under the Kurukshetra district. INLDs Jaswinder Singh Sandhu is the current MLA of Pehowa.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, INLD’s Jaswinder Singh Sandhu defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Jai Bhagwan Sharma by nearly 10 thousand votes.
