Now people of Bengaluru can get fuel delivered at their doorstep, all credit to a city-based start-up company called ANB Fuels Private Limited has recently started a new fuel delivery service called ‘My Petrol Pump’. This service which is currently available in few selected areas in Bengaluru offers both pick-up and doorstep delivery to its customers.
For the time being, My Petrol Pump gives customers the option to buy diesel, which will be offered at the same price as available at any fuel station. There will also be a minimal delivery charge of ₹ 99 for fuel up to 100 litres and for quantity above 100 litres, customers will have to pay ₹ 1 per litre over the fuel price. Customers can pre-book or order the required quantity of diesel online or by calling the number given on the company’s website. The start-up also intends on launching a mobile app for Android and iOS, which will further facilitate in using their service. While the company says there is no cancellation charge involved right now, the order has to be cancelled before the delivery process begins.
Places in Bengaluru which can avail this service are namely– HSR Layout, Koramangala, Bellandur, BTM & Bomanahalli and nearby areas at pin codes – 560102, 560103, 560034, 560095, 560076 & 560068. Customers can pay for their fuel by cash or use POS (point of sale) machines by swiping their credit/debit card at the time of delivery.
This service ensures that they get petrol from authorised sources and are stern about the quality. They also chose to not purchase or stock fuel prior to delivery and fuel is sourced only upon receiving the pre-booking from customers in order to avoid wastage.
