A shocking case of sexual violence has come to the light where a Godman Nandkumar Vasant Bhagwat and his son Abhijit have been booked by police on charges of sexual abuse and blackmail of women on the pretext of ‘removing black spell’ on them.

Going by a report of Indian Express, a police official from Samarth police station said the accused have allegedly been abusing and exploiting women for financial gain for many years.

On Sunday, a group of women who went to the house of the suspects assaulted the father-son duo and turned them over to the police.

The accused have been booked under several sections of the IPC pertaining to sexual abuse, criminal intimidation and cheating, along with other  sections of Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act.
