Rahul Gandhi shows heart; waits in line for air ambulance to take off in Kerala

Congress president Rahul Gandhi sets out an example by holding back his flight to give ways to the Air Ambulance that had to fly for medical assistance to the flood-affected people. He waited for the ambulance to take off and later to get clearance for his flight.

Gandhi is on a two day visit to flood-hit Kerala to meet flood affected people in Chengannur. He took an aerial survey of the devastated land.

While returning from Chengannur, he found that an air ambulance is to take off from there and decided to hold his flight until the air ambulance takes off. He can be seen exchanging words with a Kerala minister, later he reached the ambulance to check with the patients and ambulance pilot.

The video of this incident has gone viral on social media. Gandhi arrived in Thiruvananthapuram at around 10:30 this morning from abroad. First, he made a visit to the relief camp at the Christian College and talked to people at the centre. Later he visited a camp at an engineering college. He also met the Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala and Congress’s state unit president MM Hassan, before taking off for an aerial survey of the region.
