Inspired by Boman Irani’s character ‘Professor Viru Sahastrabudhhe’ from the film ‘3 Idiots’, a teen girl from Raipur has mastered the art of mirror writing, winning millions of hearts across the country.
Kavya Chawda a student of Class 7, has claimed that she can write with one hand, while simultaneously writing in plain script with the other in both Hindi and English languages.
Mirror writing is basically writing in the direction that is the reverse of the natural way, such that the result is the mirror image of normal writing.
As quoted in several reports, Kavya said that she was impresses and fascinated by the concept of mirror writing shown in Bollywood movie ‘3 Idiots.’ This idea prompted her to practice the mirror writing art.

“It takes a lot of concentration, but I have been practising this since the last three to four years. I can do mirror writing while also writing with my other hand. I got this idea from the movie ‘3 Idiots’, in which Virus could write with both of his hands,” Kavya said.
“First I learned writing like this in English and then started doing it in Hindi as well. I want to give the message that at a time when people are running after learning English, we should promote our own language.” she added.
Reports suggest that Kavya’s parents have been supportive and proud of their daughter’s unique talent.
