Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje is once again going to face a woman adversary in the upcoming assembly election. Mukul Choudhary, wife of IPS officer Pankaj Choudhary is set to contest against the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje from Jhalrapatan seat.
Mukul alleges that her husband Pankaj is harassed by the current government and is paying the price of being an honest police officer. The current Rajasthan Government has served seven charge sheet against the IPS Choudhary.”This is the reward of being an honest and committed police officer”, said Mukul.
Mukul says that it is a battle of honour and pride for her husband and already started her campaign from her birthplace, Jhalrapatan.
Mukul’s mother Shashi Dutta was the Law Minister in Bhairon Singh Shekhawat government. Later she joined Bahujan Samaj Party. Her father Som Dutta was a RAS officer.
Pankaj Choudhary is a 2009 batch officer and a former state-level cricketer. He has been in strong disagreement with the present government for quite some time. Pankaj also had miffed the previous Congress government led by Ashok Gehlot.
