According to sources, superstar Rajinikanth is likely to discuss his political future in a concrete manner when he meets his fans in August.
He had recently told his fans that, “get ready for war when it comes to them”, while meeting them in Chennai last month.
The actor is currently shooting for ‘Kaala’ in Mumbai.
Sources also said that the actor had been discussing politics and are confident that he will take the plunge this time. His fans have been strictly asked not to participate in TV debates without permission. However, senior members of the fan clubs are confident that he is likely to announce the political party on his birthday on December 12.
“He has some great plans. It does look like he is serious this time,” said a source close to the actor.
The BJP had earlier said that they would be more than happy to make him a member of the party.
Rajinikanth has two upcoming films next year, 2.0 and Pa.
