Stree, the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor was an unexpected hit at the box-office last year. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film was loved by both audience and critics. According to rumors, reportedly makers are now planning to make a sequel to the film, titled Stree 2.
According to a report in Filmfare, it is reported that it’s Kalank actor Varun Dhawan who is keen to be a part of the sequel given his penchant to explore new territories. The source informed, “Varun has met the makers several times and is trying to work things around. However, the makers are in a dilemma as they share a good bond with Rajkummar, the hero of Stree.”
Rajkummar Rao was immensely praised for his performance in Stree and it would be interesting to see whether makers go ahead with him in Stree 2 or would actually consider Varun Dhawan for the role.
