Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has declared to distribute total of 50 Lakhs smartphones to the youths and women. This was announced in the ‘Mobile Tihar’ programme held in Raipur under the communications Revolution scheme. He believes this will provide accessibility to the modern means of communication ‘internet’ to the youth of Chhattisgarh. He also tweeted this from his twitter handle which was welcomed with both appreciation as well as sarcasm.

Three times chief minister to Chhattisgarh, Raman Singh is due to face election in December 2018. It is said that the move is mere to please the voter for the upcoming elections.
