Dozens of passengers on the Rajdhani Express going to Bhubaneswar from New Delhi on Sunday became victims of food poisoning. As soon as the train reached Muri station at 10.12 pm there was a rift between the passengers on the station and they ran to seek help.

After receiving the information, many senior officials including the railway’s medical vice-chancellor Dr JK Kachchap, Station Manager MS Khan, Muri Post incharge RPF and RPF reached the station. Dr. Ramnesh Prasad of the local Singapore Nursing Home also came along with his team. Several ambulances reached the platform one by one and within a few minutes, there was a line of ambulance.

More than 30 people from the three bogies of the train were in a state of unconsciousness.

Railway doctor Dr J. Kachchap immediately examined the health check for all the passengers. The team of Dr. Ramnesh of Singapore Nursing Home also supported the investigation of the passengers. Passengers said that in the number 3, 5, 8 and 9, about thirty passengers were in unconscious condition. The train has been dispatched by the passengers.

Given the seriousness of the matter Dr. J. Kachchap and his team are in the train. According to the information, some seriously ill passengers were taken off in Bokaro. The train departs from the station at 10.42 a.m. It’s been 30 minutes in the meantime. Muri’s Station Manager MS Khan said that the passengers have been victimized by food poisoning. There is negligence in food arrangement.

No Journalists who came to cover the incident was allowed by the railway security forces to enter the train. While many travelers were trying to tell their problems.
