Ranveer Singh Applauds Wife Deepika Padukone: In Rohit Shetty’s latest cop movie, Deepika Padukone will portray Shakti Shetty, the character she played in Singham 3.
In his latest social media post, Ranveer Singh amplified everyone’s expectations by showing off yet another swagger look of Deepika Padukone.
Deepika’s Lady Singham look was shared on Ranveer’s Instagram stories and he called her ‘sherni’.
With a colourful backdrop, Deepika can be seen mimicking the famous hand gesture of Ajay Devgn from the first Singham film, sporting sunglasses.
Rohit Shetty had earlier captioned the photo, “MY HERO… REEL MEIN BHI AUR REAL MEIN BHI LADY SINGHAM!!! @deepikapadukone.”

In 2023, Rohit Shetty said Deepika would play a role in Singham Again.

He added, “She is like one of the heroes, and what we are doing with it is that we will go with her story. We will make a film that has only Deepika. It is her story. Like Sooryavanshi, Singham, and Simmba, the films had already been made and people knew about them, but with Singham again, we are introducing these characters, and then we will tell their stories.”
Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh star in the film, which was announced by the director on the first day of Navratri last year.
In the first-look poster, Deepika was seen suited up in a police universe holding a gun. Rohit revealed the actress would play the most violent and brutal cop in his cop universe.
Blood was seen oozing from Deepika’s forehead and shoulders as the gun was placed in a man’s mouth.
He wrote, “Naari sita ka bhi roop hai aur durga ka bhi… Meet the most brutal and violent officer in our cop universe… Shakti Shetty… My lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.”
Kalki, 2989 AD will soon feature Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
