Nagpur: An incident took place where a rape victim ended her life after being physically assaulted.
A 22-year-old girl who hails from Nagpur district of Maharashtra was depressed about the tragedy that happened with her. She also left a suicide note before ending her life.
Reportedly, the girl who lives in Moradi went to meet a boy on Feb 15 at the bus stand. The accused forced her to drink alcohol with the help of his two other friends. The accused then raped the girl and with the help of his friends, threw the girl in an unknown place and ran.
The victim then registered a complaint against the three accused following which they were arrested by the police. The victim is survived by her mother and a younger brother and she was going to get married on March 10.
The brutal incident that happened with her before her wedding pushed her to acute depression, as per the reports.
On Sunday, the victim hanged herself to death when she was alone at home. She was upset over the incident that happened with her and the accusations against her. The girl also left a suicide note demanding the rapist to be hanged to death for destroying her life.
