The Redmi 12 features a 6.79-inch LCD screen with a centre-aligned cutaway. It has a resolution of FHD+, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a maximum luminance of 550 nits. The device’s power button incorporates a side-mounted biometric scanner. The smartphone has a compact form factor and three camera sensors without a module on the rear panel.

The Redmi 12 is propelled internally by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W quick charging. It operates on Android 13-based MIUI 14 software.
The Redmi 12 is equipped with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, a USB-C connector, and a 3.5mm jack.
