RPSC RAS Mains 2023: Date Announced, Get Ready with These Tips

RPSC RAS Mains 2023: On January 27 and 28, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will administer the RAS Mains. Candidates who passed the RAS Prelims will now concentrate on preparing for the Mains. The RAS Preliminaries result was made public on Friday, October 20.

Mains RAS paper pattern

The subjects of the four papers comprising the RAS Mains are General Studies I, II, III, General Hindi, and English. Three hours are allotted for the examination. There will be brief answer, medium answer, and long answer questions on the paper. The paper will be worth a total of 200 points.

RAS Mains curriculum

General Research The first paper will consist of management, accounting, history, economics, sociology, and auditing chapters. Administrative ethics, general science and technology, and earth science comprise the second paper. Behaviour and Law, Sports and Yoga, The Indian Political System, World Politics and Current Affairs, Concepts, Issues, and Dynamics of Public Administration and Management.

  • Letter Writing and Comprehension, Translation, Precise, General Hindi Grammar and Usage
  • Comprehension, Translation, Precise, Composition, and Letter Writing comprise General English.

How should one organize for the RPSC RAS Mains?

With only a few months remaining until the RAS Mains examination, candidates are encouraged to concentrate on the chapters’ essential topics. Review the essential subjects by consulting sample papers, papers from previous years, and practice questions derived from said sample papers and papers.

Sample papers: Review and prepare for the RAS Mains sample papers. By practicing sample papers from previous years, you can familiarize yourself with the question format and gain confidence for the examination.

Daily simulated examinations will help you identify any gaps in your preparation. After completing the practice examination, evaluate your performance and verify incorrect answers. Additionally, mock exams are crucial for improving time management.

Effective time management: Aim to finish the paper no later than 15 minutes prior to the examination; any remaining time can be allocated to revise the material. A candidate will benefit from the practice on the day of the examination, as revision is critical prior to submitting an error-free paper.
