Stating that their appearance with Ukrainian pilots would send a clear message to the international community that Russia’s invasion would end in defeat.

Last month, Biden informed G7 leaders that the United States supported joint training initiatives for Ukrainian F-16 pilots. Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security adviser, stated that there was no definitive decision regarding the dispatch of U.S. aircraft.
