Kim Kardashian will play a divorce lawyer in the upcoming Ryan Murphy-directed legal drama. The legal drama is set to air on Hulu — which also airs the reality show ‘The Kardashians’ — and Kim Kardashian will portray a successful divorce lawyer who is the head of an all-woman law firm in Los Angeles, according to Variety, a US-based media outlet.

The series’ writers will be Joseph Baken, the author of “American Horror Stories,” and Jon Robin Baitz, the showrunner of the upcoming Truman Capote-themed season of Murphy’s “Feud.”

Aside from this, Kim is also in the process of developing a comedy movie, ‘The Fifth Wheel,’ in which she will be playing an outsider in a group of four women friends. According to Variety, the film was acquired by Netflix after a competitive bidding war. Murphy will be starring in the Kardashian-led Hulu series for the first time since signing an overall contract with Disney in June after departing from Netflix.

Kardashian has been a television star for more than 15 years, starring on E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and now Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” but she has rarely delved into acting. She has a series of voice acting animation credits and has played herself with cameos on sitcoms like “How I Met Your Mother,” “30 Rock,” “2 Broke Girls,” and “Ocean’s 8.” However, she has played a few minor roles, including “Disaster Movie,” a parody comedy film starring her in 2008; one episode of “CSI: NY” in 2009; and four episodes of “Drop Dead Diva” in 2012.
