After Apple’s lagging behind in the sales and their decision to slash the revenue guidance for fiscal 2019 first quarter, another smartphone giant could well begin its downward trajectory! Samsung, which is slated to launch it’s S10 model in the premier smartphone series of Galaxy has reportedly set an insane price for the handset. The most expensive Galaxy phone could cost upto €1,600 (~ INR 1,29,562), nearing to the price of iPhone XS (INR 1,44,900), the phone whose launch could not save Apple’s sinking or rather was a major cause of bringing a melting down in it’s revenue.

To support such a high price, all the phone is rumored to offer is petty features, here we take you through its prices some of the features of the phone.

Three variants

  • Samsung planning is planning to launch Galaxy S10 in 3 variants, namely, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+.

Cost of the phones

The cost of the Most expensive Galaxy S10 is way more than the “affordable” iPhone XR and it nears to iPhone XS.

1 TB storage, 12 GB RAM : €1,600 (~ INR 1,29,562)

Camera with three lenses
Reports suggest that the phone wil have 3 cameras in its rear side with 2 front facing cameras. Extra lens could be used as 16 MP ultra wide angle lens.

No traditional earpiece?!
Reports say, in S10 sound will be transmit with vibrations emanating from display and no opening will be required to bring sound out.

3D face scanner
Following Apple’s Face ID, S10 could introduce 3D face scanner.

Now do these flaunted features deserve the heavy price tag? It remains to be decided, but for now the first week of the phone release look the toughest.
