Former Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief, Pahlaj Nihalani is all set to produce sequel of erotic film, ‘Julie’. The decision has taken many by surprise as Nihalani always encouraged ‘sanskari’ ways in films.
While speaking to NewsX, he said, “It’s a content-driven movie. It’s a clear adult film and I don’t see any problem in it.”
“Julie 2 should be given an ‘A’ certificate without any cuts. There is no vulgarity, obscenity or even a language problem,” he told media.
It has been just three weeks since Nihalani was removed on 11 August. The decision was taken considering his selection of films and unlimited controversies. His return in the film industry is bound to raise eyebrows.
‘Julie 2’ is set to release on 6 October, 2017. It stars South Indian actress Raai Laxmi in the pivotal role.
