The soap opera ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ catapulted actress Dipika Kakar to prominence and made her a ubiquitous name. The actress, who is expecting her first child with actor-husband Shoaib Ibrahim, recently told the media that she no longer wishes to work and wants to spend the remainder of her life as a housewife.

In February 2017, Dipika married Shoaib in a traditional nikaah ceremony. They are expecting their first child shortly.

According to numerous media reports, Dipika recently discussed her lengthy career in the entertainment industry, beginning at a very young age.
She then declared her intention to abandon acting and become a housewife and mother.
“I am relishing my pregnancy and anticipating the birth of our first child. The level of enthusiasm is extraordinary. I began working at a very young age and did so continuously for 10 to 15 years. As my pregnancy journey began, I informed Shoaib that I no longer wished to perform and wished to retire from acting. “I want to be a housewife and mother,” the actress was reportedly quoted as saying.
