New York bus driver’s video is going viral on the Internet after a bus driver saved a student from a speeding car at around 10:44 am on April 26 on State Route 12.
The viral video was initially posted on the Facebook page of Norwich City School District (NCSD). It shows the bus driver grabbing a student and pulling him back as he tries to deboard the bus in order to save him for a speeding car. The video was captured by one of the cameras on the bus.
The bus driver identified as Samantha Call grabbed the student by his hoodie to save him for the speeding car that went by the school bus.
The video was captioned “Touched by an Angel” and also the school had shared an important message that one should not pass the school bus when the stop arm is out and red light is flashing.

The bus driver was praised by the school for his quick actions and alertness that prevented the tragedy to happen.
“Samantha did an outstanding job,” NCSD Transportation Supervisor William Loomis said. “All of our drivers undergo continuous training so they’re prepared to handle situations like this. We hope this video helps everyone to realize the dangers of passing a stopped school bus.”
The viral video was shared more than 10,000 times and netizens praised her for her alertness and quick actions.
