Former State minister and Senior Congress leader Indrajit Patel, who passed away on Sunday in Bhopal, has left a void in Madhya Pradesh, carrying as he did an influential voice of the Sidhi district in Bhopal’s power circles and maintained cordial relations among different political spectrum of Madhya Pradesh. Indrajit Patel was also considered as a close aide of former Chief Minister late Arjun Singh.
He has represented Sidhi constituency for six times and served as Cabinet minister in former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh’s regime. Kamleshwar Patel, son of late Indrajit Patel is contesting from Singhwal constituency under the banner of Congress party. Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Kamal Nath tweeted on Sunday afternoon and paid tribute to the Indrajit Patel.
